TO EAT: {New Paltz) We were recently at SUNY New Paltz for their fall open house. When one of the professors was giving lunch recommendations he noted @PnGsBar was great for those looking for typical bar food. Of all the options - Vietnamese, Thai, pizza….my son chose P&Gs. The restaurant has a long history, with the building it’s housed in dating back to 1900. It’s currently a third generation run family restaurant. The restaurant was extremely busy and there was a wait for a table, as expected, with the Open House. We enjoyed: 📸 Pulled Pork Sandwich with Mac and Cheese 📸 Tommy I’s Crab Cake Melt (substituted a roll for the rye bread)with Fries 📸 Fried Seafood Platter The portions were large and everything was tasty! Although we have visited New Paltz several times, this was our first time visiting P&G’s.
