This is all coming from ByteDance—the same company behind TikTok that's facing bans worldwide—positioning themselves to monetize creator content at scale. While we've been focused on the TikTok ban, they've quietly been securing rights to millions of hours of creator content through CapCut. It’s a smart play, but I’m not sure how this will work out for them.
