The Easter holiday is such an anchoring celebration in Christianity. Our entire religion exists based on what today means for us. I have spent a lot of time over the past 7-8 years really deconstructing a lot of the harmful things I learned growing up, that were justified by my religion at one point of another. I have been trying to grow as a person, and as a mother, leading with love, and teaching my kids the same..just as Christ tells me. I haven’t been to church in years, but I see and feel God in everything. I sit in amazement at the Earths creation and I am so thankful to be at a point in my journey with Jesus, to know he is not confined to those 4 walls, and the people that sit inside them. He is everywhere. He is in us, and all around us. We can seek him and find him everywhere. Jesus was led to the wilderness after his baptism, to commune with God, it is no surprise that I find him here most of all. Happy Easter to those who celebrate. 🤍
