It can affect even experienced swimmers. The RNLI has reported a rise in drowning incidents in recent weeks, including incidents involving teenagers, highlighting the importance of water safety education. As schools prepare for the end of term, now is a valuable opportunity to remind pupils and families about staying safe around water.
