A Dutch Baby takes about 30 minutes, uses simple ingredients you already have in your kitchen, and comes out of the oven looking like you really did something special. 😍 It's one of those recipes that feels impressive without actually being hard and those are my absolute favorite kind. It's the kind of breakfast that makes everyone slow down, gather around the table, and actually enjoy the morning together instead of rushing off in different directions. No one is asking for cereal when this is coming out of the oven, I'll tell you that much. 😄 The best part? You can top it however your family loves it! Powdered sugar, fresh berries, whipped cream, maple syrup or pile on all of the above and call it a win. Every single person at the table gets to make it their own, and that makes it a breakfast we keep coming back to again and again. #homemaderecipes #mindfulmothering #madefromscratch #lifeofahomemaker #homemakerlife Dutch Baby  Serves: 4-6 | Total Time: 30 minutes Ingredients: * 4 large eggs, at room temperature * 1 cup all-purpose flour * 1 cup whole milk * 3 Tbsp granulated sugar * 1/8 tsp salt * ¾ tsp vanilla extract * 4 Tbsp unsalted butter Toppings: * 2-3 Tbsp confectioners' sugar, for dusting * Optional: butter, berries, whipped cream, maple syrup Directions: 1. Place the eggs in a blender and blend on medium-high speed until frothy and fluffy, about 45 seconds. Add flour, milk, sugar, salt, and vanilla. Blend until smooth (the batter will be thin). Let rest for 15 minutes at room temp or stick in fridge overnight. 2. While batter is sitting, preheat oven to 400°F and heat 12-inch oven-safe skillet in the oven for 5 minutes. Remove and brush melted butter up the sides of the pan. 3. Pour batter into the center of the hot pan. Bake at 400°F for 15 minutes. Then, without opening the oven, reduce temperature to 350°F and bake an additional 12-15 minutes, until edges are puffed and center is golden brown. 4. Let cool for 5 minutes. Dust with confectioners' sugar and add toppings of your choice. Slice and serve.
