(it’s more common to say “try new things” than to say “try out new things”) 🔸try out = this verb has the same meaning of testing something to see if you like it or if it works, but we typically use this verb with new objects, products, new features of these products, and places to say that we’re casually experimenting with them. So, there is more of an emphasis on experimentation with “try out”, and we often use it before or after buying something: After buying the new iPhone 15 model, the first thing she did was try out its high-quality camera. He tried out the new exercise machine at the gym to see if it would help him tone his abs. My friends and I are trying out this new sushi place in the city tonight. Do you want to come?
