Tip 1: Use your selfie camera ‼️ When in doubt pull your phone 📱 out and check yourself out in the camera if the selfie camera is too dark from the angle you are holding it it’s definitely gonna be too dark within the camera , so change angles so the sun is either backlighting your subject or in location that provides flattering light. Tip 2 : Timing is of the essence ‼️ 🕰️ Natural light is brutal at midday though that may seem like the best time to set a shoot for planning sake the best time to actually shoot photos is an hour before and after sunrise and sunset this is what we refer to as Golden Hours ! Tip 3: Pay attention to settings ‼️⚙️ You can do everything above but make sure that your settings are aligned with the look you are trying to get I know it’s easy to get stuck shooting at f1.4 but it’s okay to close that aperture up and if you don’t wanna sacrifice bokeh trying cranking the shutter to above 1/2000 and keep your iso to a minimum !
